In SEO, when we talk about links that point to a domain name or backlinks, it is implied that they are Dofollow, knowing that there also exist Nofollow links. What are the major differences between these two types of links, and what is the impact on SEO for your website?
This is one of the fundamentals of SEO when looking for the backlink as a blogger or when an SEO agency manages netlinking campaigns for the owner of a website.
You probably know that to gain positions in SEO it is necessary to have a good net-linking strategy or to regularly publish content optimizing them at best. With the many changes that have occurred with Google, natural search trends in 2018 are partly due to long content and voice SEO .

Dofollow: When the Google robot goes to your website and detects a Dofollow link, it considers it within its algorithm and gives a value to the site to which it points according to the authority you have. Conversely, if an external Dofollow link comes from a high authority site and points to your site, Google will consider it and will also assign a level of authority to your site. These are the links Dofollow pointing to your site, the backlinks, which will help to give you a better SEO.
Nofollow: When the Google robot spends on a Nofollow link on your site, it will simply not follow it and continue to crawl your content. In this case a Nofollow link will not affect your SEO. In SEO only the link Dofollow will have importance and therefore weight to get you back in the search results.
Dofollow and Nofollow link structure
To determine if a link will be Dofollow or Nofollow it will be given an attribute thanks to the rel tag. However the Dofollow link is thus considered by default in the absence of a tag. In absolute terms, only a Nofollow link needs to be filled in by this attribute.

How to get Dofollow links to improve SEO?

The disadvantage of guest blogging is still related to the authority of the sites. It is sometimes difficult to exchange links with a site that starts or has no authority to help you get better positioning.
Finally, consider getting Dofollow links from highly authoritative bloggers becomes very difficult due to their frequent solicitation
Comments on Do-follow sites
I put this method last, because it is not really Google Friendly to the extent that Google does not look favorably sites that put their comments in Dofollow. That is, if you leave a comment on one of these sites, by dragging a link, you get a back-link for your site, but pay attention to the relevance of the comment and the nature of the site.
It’s not about pasting comments on all sites being open to Dofollow comments. It will be easy for you to find a list of sites in Dofollow comments by typing the query on Google, but do not think that it will last or that it is a relevant method. She will have her time in my opinion!

If you still want to use it, you must first avoid comments! Locate for starters the sites that are from your universe and only these. Do not leave a comment with your link on a jam site! Google will consider this link as a decoy because the principle works like anchors.

When websites get some authority and usually have a few years behind them, they regularly use net-linking or link building campaigns to boost their SEO.
This method involves going through SEO platforms or agencies that manage a portfolio of many bloggers / websites, on different levels in terms of authority.
Boost SEO with Dofollow links
This implies defining a budget that will be more or less consistent depending on the desired links and the sites on which they will be placed. We can talk about rates ranging from 100 € to more than 700 € for a Dofollow link, which quickly becomes exponential if you want several links on several sites.
As previously announced, the more authority a site has, that is, the more it will be cited by other sites, the more expensive the link will be.
The strategy of netlinking still has a clear advantage over the above methods, you will not be slowed down by the authority of a site. This does not mean that it will be effective to go directly to big sites of influence.

Should we have a site with Dofollow or Nofollow links?

For a blogger it is quite another thing, depending on the monetization or not site.
